Frequently Asked Questions about the Utah Education Fits All Scholarship

Why should I bring my student to Go Beyond kids?

At Go Beyond Kids (GBK), we offer a traditional Montessori classroom for students in kindergarten through third
grade, located in Lindon, Utah. This program runs six hours a day, five days per week, with students learning in a supportive, open classroom environment where they can work at their own pace under the guidance of a Montessori-certified teacher.

Students participate in a balance of individual, small group, and whole-class lessons each day. They are encouraged to choose work that interests them while still progressing through grade-level curriculum. Alongside core academics, students build confidence, leadership skills,
independence, and a love of learning as they challenge themselves to reach new levels.

The classroom environment also supports younger students in developing healthy social skills, problem-solving abilities, and an understanding of what it means to be part of a positive, respectful community.

What is "student led, teacher guided"?

We have an open classroom environment where they can choose which things to work on and at their own
pace under the guidance of a Montessori-certified teacher. Our teacher guides students through a wide range of subjects, including language, math, science (biology, geography, zoology, botany, and more), history, art, music, and grace and courtesy (social-emotional skills). Weekly progress updates are provided through Montessori Compass.
